We will accept proposals for review by a panel of experts.You can find information about the conference's various activities, as well as guidelines for submission below. Please read them carefully before submitting your proposal.

Theme and topics
All proposals should be related to the conference theme “Philosophical practice in society and practitioners as activists”. This is a broad theme, under which we believe it is possible to present a wide variety of philosophical practices and topics. Please note that the paper sessions will also feature special thematic groups related to the session chair’s area of expertise.
Submission guidelines
The criteria for the review include fit, clarity and originality.
The proposals must be submitted in English.
The presenting author of the proposal must complete registration for the congress by February 14, 2027.
Each author may submit up to two proposals for review.
The format of proposals must include Title, Author(s), Body of proposal, Keywords (3-5), References (if any, limited to the most important ones)
Length of the proposal should be maximum of 350 words (excluding references)
In addition, follow the specific instructions for each activity listed below.
Accepted proposals will be published on the conference website as part of the program.
The deadline for submissions is December 15, 2026.

Workshops
We welcome proposals for workshops that incorporate philosophical methods and encourage interaction. Preferably, the workshop should be related to the conference theme, but other types of workshops that present your own philosophical practice are also welcome. Each workshop lasts 90 minutes, including instructions, the activity itself, and a wrap-up. The proposal should clearly state the title, describe the workshop’s topic, the purpose of the work, and the planned activities. The workshop should not include an extensive presentation of theory. Proposals must be a maximum of 350 words. See also the general guidelines for proposals.
Paper sessions
We welcome proposals for paper sessions that address philosophical practice-related academic research or other studies related to the field. The proposals should be related to the conference theme. Each presentation will be limited to 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for discussion. Proposals for paper sessions should clearly state the title and concisely describe the main topic, claim, or hypothesis that will be discussed in the presentation. For scientific research, please state the Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. See also the general guidelines for proposals.
In addition to the open sessions covering all topics related to the conference theme, the paper sessions will also feature special thematic groups related to the session chair’s area of expertise (below). If you want to submit your proposal to a specific theme group, please state this clearly in the beginning of your proposal and follow the guidelines for that theme group. The chair of each theme group makes the selections from their group's proposals. A proposal may also be transferred to another group that is a better fit for it.

Posters
We welcome proposals for posters that are related to the conference theme. There is a designated area at the venue for posters, where they will be on display throughout the conference. The topics of the posters will be presented in separate poster sessions, with 10 minutes allocated for the presentation of each poster and another 10 minutes for discussion. Proposals for posters should clearly state the title and concisely describe the main topic, claim, or hypothesis that will be presented at the poster. For scientific research, please state the Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Or, alternatively, describe the alternative way—such as one that utilizes an artistic approach—of presenting a topic related to philosophical practice. See also the general guidelines for proposals. Please print your poster and bring it with you to the conference.
Books
If you wish, you may bring your books to the conference to sell or display. You do not need to submit a proposal for this. Submit a proposal only if you wish to present your book via a poster or in a paper session or a workshop.
Registration: 1st of January - 10th of May, 2027
General registration ends by 10th of May, 2027.
Registration for the contributors ends 28th of February, 2027 (the decisions on proposals will be notified by the 31st of January, 2027).
The final programme will be published by the 31st of March, 2027.
