Conference will be held in Cultural Centre and Conference Hotel Sofia. Sofia is an overall experience that speaks to mind, body, and soul. It is located by the Baltic sea, in east Helsinki, at the beautiful Kallahdenniemi peninsula, 15 km from Helsinki city centre and 20 km from the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

There are 50 rooms (mainly two-person/twin rooms) in Sofia. We encourage you to share rooms with colleagues and friends!

Accommodation in one person room 100,00 €/room/day.
Breakfast is included (from 7.30 am to 10 am).

Rastila Camping with rental cottages and cabins (and camping pitches). 2,5 kilometers from Sofia. Self-service. Two grocery store nearby and a restaurant/café at the camping area.
Villa Kallahti for 10+2 persons. 1 kilometer from Sofia. Self-service. Next to a summer restaurant Maininki (with limited opening hours) and Vuosaari Paddling Center with a café/bar.

How to get there?

By the sea and close to the city

Sofia is located on the shores of the Baltic Sea in the Kallahdenniemi Peninsula, Vuosaari region of Helsinki, 15 km from Helsinki city centre and 20 km from the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.

By car:

Easy to get to by car. Plenty of free parking space.

Public Transport:

There is the Metro connection from Helsinki city centre to the Rastila metro station, from where connection by bus toward Kallahdenniemi leaves approximately every ten to fifteen minutes (bus no. 560). Exit stop Kallvikinniemi, Leikosaarentie (4563), from where one walks approximately 1,6 km along Kallvikinniemi road to Hotel Sofia. Additionally, during weekdays (Mon-Fri), a service line no. 816 runs from Vuosaari metro station directly to Sofia’s main door.
